Her path to the law began in social work. After earning her degree in Social Work from the University of California, Berkeley, she worked with at-risk youth and families, experience that continues to shape how she understands what children and parents need.
As an attorney, she has represented children, parents, and the Department of Social Services in child custody cases, including Children in Need of Assistance (CINA) matters. She works with her clients with compassion, helping them understand the complexities of the family judicial system.
