Kristina M. Darwood is a founding partner of D&A Legal. She earned her Juris Doctor from Howard University School of Law in 2004 and has been licensed to practice in the District of Columbia and Maryland ever since.
She spent nine years as a litigator at a major Washington, DC law firm, building the courtroom skill and preparation she brings to every matter. She found her calling in family law, where her work directly improves people's everyday lives.
Kristina is a trained mediator, a collaborative law professional, and a member of Collaborative Dispute Resolution Professionals. She is a firm believer in empowering clients to make the best decisions for their families: settling when it serves them, and advocating firmly in court when it does not.
